It is a scooter with a metal frame, under the platform. the wheels glide smoothly. the mechanism of lean-to-steer is safer for children than other scooters because of course teaches the child to lean into turns, which is necessary on any scooter or bike to keep from falling. delivery was fast, Assembly was very easy.
